Alix Furgang

We are pleased to announce Alix Furgang as our new Customer Service Manager. Alix came to ulrich medical USA from Astura Medical where she managed the Customer Service team for two years. She is experienced in leading a committed team that delivers on-time set orders, sales orders, and is adept in process improvement and problem resolution. Alix earned her BS in Biochemistry from Texas Woman’s University, where she was a Research Assistant, conducted enzyme research and interned with Boston Scientific. She lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and is a competitive mountain biker. We welcome Alix to the ulrich team and look forward to the opportunity to work together to take your business to New Heights and BEYOND.


Melissa Pilley

We are pleased to announce Melissa Pilley as the new Regional Sales Manager of the Southwest territory for ulrich medical USA. Melissa has over ten years of medical device sales experience in biologics and spine hardware. For the last three years, she has been the Lead Principal Distributor of her independent spine business. Prior to this, Melissa earned several sales awards in her seven-year tenure at XTANT Medical, and has experience in sales at Arthrex. She also was leader of spine implant education in collaboration with the Chief of Residency at the Banner Orthopedic Residency Program.

Melissa holds a BS in Mass Communications and Public Relations from St. Johns University in New York City, where she played Division I softball. She is based in Phoenix, AZ, and is passionate about helping our distributor partners grow their business.

ulrich Medical USA® Receives 510(k) Clearance for Flux-C™ 3D Printed Porous Titanium Cervical Interbody Prior to NASS

ST. LOUIS, MO (October 13, 2022) — ulrich medical USA, Inc., a privately held medical device company focused on developing and commercializing musculoskeletal implant technologies in the United States, today announced the FDA has given 510(k) clearance of its Flux-C 3D printed porous titanium cervical interbody device.

“Surgeons have many options for cervical interbodies. The Flux-C porous titanium device offers one of the best in class with superior endplate contact and spaces for generous inter-device bone grafting. It is a welcomed complement to their superior array of expandable cages,” said Patrick Maloney, M.D. newest member of ulrich Medical USA’s Surgeon Advisory Board and its recently established Director of Deformity.

Flux-C is manufactured using a 3D printing process called direct metal laser sintering (DMLS). The interbodies are available in multiple parallel and lordotic options in various heights. These porous titanium devices are designed with a large graft window and a side window to allow for improved radiographic imaging.

ulrich medical USA® Announces Corporate Relocation to Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

 

ST. LOUIS, MO (September 16, 2022)– ulrich medical USA, Inc., a privately held medical device company focused on developing and commercializing musculoskeletal implant technologies in the United States, today announced it will relocate its US headquarters to Plano, Texas. Its current location is in Chesterfield, Missouri.

“We believe it’s in the best strategic interest of the company to make this move, which supports ulrich medical USA’s strategy for profitable growth as we help our customers and distributors achieve new heights and beyond,” said President and CEO, Hans Stover.

The combination of the recent Sales Agency Agreement with a premier global orthopedic leader and continued organic growth are driving the need for a larger facility. Therefore, the decision was made to expand in a more business-friendly environment like that of Texas. The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was an easy choice, as it has an abundance of well-educated, talented people and attractive communities which should support ulrich medical USA’s growth objectives for years to come. The company will begin transitioning its headquarters to Plano in the first quarter of 2023.
