1912 The company is founded in Ulm, Germany in 1912 by Heinrich C. Ulrich.
1914 The first ulrich instrument, the Möltgen-style goniometer, is introduced.
1925 The founder's son, Max Ulrich, joins the family company. The company develops an extensive line of instruments, becoming a technological leader.
1967 Heinrich Ulrich joins the company as owner and managing director.
1975 A production plant is opened in Blaustein-Herrlingen.
1978 In addition to the development and manufacture of surgical instruments, the company begins producing spinal implant systems. The Cardan screw driver is introduced.
1984 Dr. Zielke designs the ulrich Ventral Derotation Spondylodesis (VDS) for the correction of scoliosis.
1997 The company, Heinrich C. Ulrich KG, becomes Ulrich GmbH & Co. KG with four divisions: medical device, home health care, medical equipment supply and hospital/GP supply.
